Two classes. A coach who knows your name in both.
Strength on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Engine on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Small groups, a coach watching every set, and every movement scaled to the person doing it. Your first class is free.
Not sure a class is the right start? Two minutes of questions will tell you.
Build the strength. Build the engine. Alternate days, and you have the week covered.

Strength
Barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells, with the loading planned in cycles so you actually get stronger rather than just tired. The coach sets your weights, fixes your positions and progresses you when you are ready.
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: mornings, midday and late afternoon
- Muscle, bone density, posture, and the joints that have been complaining
- Every lift has a lighter or simpler version ready

Engine
Coached conditioning: rowers, bikes, skis, carries and bodyweight work in intervals with real rest built in. Capacity for real life, which means stairs, hikes, a long day, and keeping up with people you care about.
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: mornings, midday and late afternoon
- Heart, lungs and the energy that used to be there at 4 PM
- Intervals are scaled by effort, so nobody is racing anybody
25 classes a week. Same times every week.

What actually happens when you show up.
A membership billed every two weeks, or a pass you buy once.
Prefer no recurring billing? A 10-class pass is $250 and a 20-class pass is $460. Prices before HST. Memberships need 15 days notice to cancel, and the hold form covers travel and injuries.
Before your first class.
I have not exercised in years. Is a class really for me?
Often yes, and sometimes a coach will suggest a few one-on-one sessions first. Either way the first class is free and the coach scales every movement to you. The average age in the room is closer to 50 than 25.
What is the difference between Strength and Engine?
Strength is 60 minutes of coached lifting for muscle and bone. Engine is 45 minutes of coached intervals on rowers, bikes and skis for your heart and lungs. Most members do both across the week.
How many people are in a class?
Classes are capped so the coach can watch every set. If you want a quieter room, the 8 AM and midday classes are the calmest.
Something hurts. Should I still come?
Tell the coach at the door and they will work around it. If it is more than a niggle, our physiotherapist and athletic therapist are in the same building, and a class membership pauses on a hold while you recover.
Can I switch between classes and personal training?
Yes. Plenty of members do a block of one-on-one sessions and then move into classes, or add a session when they want more attention on something. Talk to your coach.
Your first class is free. Pick a time and come see the room.
A coach meets you at the door, you train at your level, and you decide after.
