Brett's path into coaching started with combat sports. An active Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor with a background in mixed martial arts, Brett spent years on the mats and in the ring before turning his focus to helping everyday people use boxing and strength training to feel stronger, calmer, and more capable in their daily lives.
After completing the Fitness & Health Promotion program at Algonquin College with honours, Brett earned his NASM Certified Personal Trainer designation and now serves as a Strength, Conditioning & Boxing Coach at BTB — running 1-on-1 personal training and his signature BoxingFit program. He coaches with quiet confidence and a warm, patient demeanour — making him especially effective with clients getting back into the gym after time away.

Every session is 45 minutes, private or small group, and structured so you get a real workout while learning real skill.
Dynamic warm-up and joint mobility work to get your shoulders, hips, and core ready to move and prevent any tightness after.
Brett coaches you through fundamentals — stance, footwork, jab, cross, hook, defense. You leave every session slightly better than you arrived.
The main event. Focused rounds with Brett on the mitts plus heavy bag work — where the stress relief happens and conditioning builds fast.
A short, high-intensity finisher that leaves you properly worked — and walking out of the gym feeling lighter than when you walked in.
Most sessions are 1-on-1 with Brett. Small group options available for couples or 2–3 friends. You're never lost in a class of 30.
