Stay strong. Stay independent. Stay you.
A small strength and conditioning class in Stittsville, designed and coached by a physiotherapist, for people who want the next twenty years to feel like the last twenty.

Built for adults 60 and better. You get a score out of 100 and Megan’s recommended first step.
The things that decide how the next ten years feel.
Most people do not move into assisted living because they turn eighty. They move because they fell, because stairs became unsafe, because getting out of a chair started needing hands. Every one of those runs on muscle, balance and range of motion, and every one of them is trainable at any age.
Legs that get you off the floor, up the stairs and out of the car without thinking about it. Muscle is the reserve you spend when life gets hard.
Single-leg work, stepping drills and carries that make a stumble a stumble, not a fall.
Hips, shoulders and spine that reach, turn and bend again. Stiff mornings get shorter.
Loaded, well-coached lifting is what bones respond to. If you have osteoporosis or arthritis, Megan scales every exercise around it instead of around you.
Groceries in one trip. A grandchild lifted. A long walk, a garden, a golf swing. That is the test that matters, and it is the one we train for.
Same faces, twice a week. You will be known by name by your second class.
Coached. Calm. Never a leaderboard.
- Warm up togetherTen minutes of mobility for hips, spine and shoulders, so the stiffness is gone before the work starts.
- LiftSquat, hinge, push, pull and carry, with Megan setting the weight to what your body is ready for that day. Two people can be side by side doing very different versions of the same exercise.
- Balance and moveStepping, single-leg and coordination drills that get harder as you do. This is the part that stops falls.
- FinishForty-five minutes, done. Megan checks in with anyone who needs it before you head out.

Six weeks. Twelve classes. Starts November 2.
Stronger for Longer runs in six-week blocks, so the same group starts together, progresses together and sees the difference together.
A free conversation, then your spot.
- Book a free No-Sweat IntroA relaxed conversation at the gym, about thirty minutes. No workout and no gym clothes. You see the room, tell us what you want to keep doing, and get an honest answer on whether this class is the right fit.
- Save your spot in the block$360 + HST for all twelve classes, booked and paid through our online booking system. Spots are limited so Megan can coach everyone properly.
- Start on November 2A short health questionnaire on day one, then straight into the class with the rest of the group.
If you have had a fall in the past year, osteoporosis, a joint replacement in the past year, a heart condition or dizzy spells, tell us at your No-Sweat Intro. We may ask you to see Megan for a physiotherapy assessment first, so the class is set up safely for you.
In their own words.
The ones we get asked most.
Do I need to be fit already?
No. Most people who join us are starting again, not starting from a personal best. Everything is scaled to the person doing it, and nobody in the room is watching anyone else.
I have a bad knee, a hip replacement, osteoporosis. Can I still do this?
Usually yes, and this is exactly why a physiotherapist runs the class. Start with Megan’s assessment so she can build your plan around it. If she thinks you need one-on-one physiotherapy first, she will say so.
Is it covered by my benefits?
No. This block runs as a fitness class, so it is not billed as physiotherapy and the receipts cannot be claimed. Megan also sees clients one-on-one for physiotherapy in the same building, which is claimable, if you need treatment for an injury.
What does it cost?
$360 + HST for the full block of twelve classes, which works out to $30 a class. If you join after it starts, it is $35 + HST for each class left. A single drop-in class is $40 + HST.
What if I join after November 2?
You are welcome to. You pay $35 + HST for each class left in the block, and Megan catches you up in your first session. Starting with the group is the best value and the best experience, so we keep the start-date price for people who begin together.
What happens after six weeks?
Megan checks your progress, there is a short break, and the next block starts in January. Most people carry straight on with the same group.
What is a No-Sweat Intro?
A free, relaxed conversation at the gym on Fernbank Road. No workout, no gym clothes. You see the space, meet the team, tell us what you want to keep doing, and leave with an honest recommendation. About thirty minutes.
What do I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes you can move in, running shoes and a water bottle. Everything else is here.
Start with a free conversation.
